Absolute Poker recently released Absolute Assassins Tournaments in order to take you to this years Main Event.
The Assassins Tournaments are basically bounty tournaments with a little different structure.
The Absolute Poker
Assassins Main Event is scheduled for every Saturday at 20:30 EST where at least one player will win a seat to this year's
WSOP Main Event. The Tournament has a $200 + $9 buy in, where $100 goes to the prize pool and $100 is set
as a bounty on every player in the tournament. Take another players last chip and receive his/her $100 bounty.
This is a nice structure in that while it is a $200 buy in, knock out two players and your even, plus you have a chance to
go to the WSOP.
Buy in directly or win one of the daily satellites. Satellites are offered daily at
15:20 EST for 2400 ARP's
17:50 EST $24+$3 ($12 to the prize pool - $12 set as a bounty)
23:40 EST $24+$3 ($12
to the prize pool - $12 set as a bounty)
We feel this a great structure in order to win your way to this years
Main Event. Because generally only the top few players get paid in any WSOP qualifier, this is a great bankroll saver
in that you can win money every step of the way to "keep you playing". While again, only the top few players
will eventually win a seat to the main event, during any Assassin Tournament simply take out two other players during the
tournament and you are even (less the fee) in order to play again basically for free.

Not since Affirmed has a thoroughbred been able to capture all three jewels of the Triple Crown. After Saturday's
performance at the Preakness, Big Brown seems as though he will not stop until he completes the trifecta winning the Belmont.
We wish Big Brown all the luck in his quest, although we feel he really doesn't need luck, it seems he has the talent
to accomplish the task.
